He holds an MSc in International Relations, a BSc (Hons) in Politics and Administration, and a BA in English Literature and Chinese. His diverse academic background, combined with his hands-on professional experience, equips him with strong leadership, research, and analytical skills. He excels in critical decision-making, financial management, networking, advocacy, communication, writing, and mentoring, bringing a holistic approach to his work.

Lerato Olga Pauline Maku brings a strong background in African Feminist & Gender Studies, International Relations, and International Politics, along with significant experience in strategic leadership and policy advocacy. Her role as Executive Assistant at the Pan African Federation of Accountants have equipped her with skills in funding sourcing, annual planning, research, and advocacy aligned with AU Agenda 2063 and Vision 2030. Fluent in multiple languages (including French), she excels in cross-cultural communication, conflict resolution, and crisis management, making her a valuable asset to a youth-focused NGO.

He has demonstrated success in originating and managing high-impact projects in Sierra Leone, including renewable energy systems, reforestation initiatives, and sustainable agri-foods systems. He is also adept at fostering strategic partnerships, engaging stakeholders, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver results aligned with sustainable development and climate adaptation goals.

Julius is a highly experienced Program Manager and Training Expert with over 12 years of expertise in managing Programs, with expertise in livelihood systems, financial inclusion, and building resilience in vulnerable communities. He is a professional whose expertise lies in delivering livelihood improvements, enhancing financial inclusion, and building resilience in marginalized communities through strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, and capacity building. He also has expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) which has enabled consistency in tracking progress and implement improvements in program delivery.

Julius Doe is an experienced development communication and advocacy specialist with over 8 years of expertise in digital communication, youth programming, youth engagement, project management, media relations, and stakeholder engagement. Julius is also the West and Central Africa Regional Coordinator for the Mobilizing Alumni Project at Plan International, where he oversees cohorts of youth-led groups and advocacy initiatives aimed at championing gender equality, SRHR, girls’ empowerment, youth leadership, and climate action in Africa.
